In Memory

Kenneth Webb

Ken Webb, 73, died Oct. 7, 2016 following an extended illness. Born in Raleigh to Norris and Onita Webb, he was a 1961 Broughton graduate with Cameron Village always being home.

His career with the US Navy/Dept of Defense took him worldwide until retirement as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 in 1987. Joining Brody School of Medicine-ECU Radiation Oncology as a Physician Assistant in 1989, his genuine compassion and excellent medical skills touched many lives for more than a decade.

Ken loved people and was never without a story or joke. To honor his memory, please extend extra kindness to someone in need.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct 22 at Raleigh Memorial Park. Condolences to the family at www.MitchellatRMP.com

Few people were as cheerful and upbeat as Kenneth Webb thorughout junior high and Broughton. Although I hadn't seen him for many years, I feel, to quote from Star Wars, a loss in The Force. But I will treasure the times we talked and laughed through our school days. RIP, Ken. - Bill Stroupe
