Anita was the sweetest person I have ever known, selfless and giving. She was incredibly smart and motivated, putting 100% into everything she did, despite her health problems. She battled in her short life more than most of us will ever have to deal with, and did so with dignity and grace. I only wish she had the time on this earth to accomplish the great things for which she was destined. I think of her from time to time and am thankful that I had the honor of being her friend.
