Karen had cancer and died on May 2, 2020. All three of Karen and Jerry's children predecieased her. Karen and I were friends in high school and college. We eventually lost touch. I saw the notice of her death in our college magazine. It breaks my heart. So many of our high school classmates and friends have left us too soon. Those of us who remain should count our blessings and live our lives to the fullest in their memories.
