I graduated in 1968 with Textile Degree. Upon graduation was inducted into the US Army included one year of duty in Viet Nam. Married my wife of 41 years, Vickie, in 1973. Vickie is from the Atlanta area and a Furman grad. Have spent my entire working life in textile and related industry. Began my working life in several entry level jobs living and working in Greenville, SC, Providence, RI, Greensboro, Oklahoma City, and North Georgia. Along the way earned an MBA at the University of Tennessee. For 11 years managed sales, business development and product development for an industrial fabric manufacturer in NE Ohio. For the last 21 years have lived and worked in Burlington, NC for Glen Raven, Inc (Sunbrella Fabrics) in various management positions in sale and product/market development. Currently in transition to retirement in two years and making our home in the Charleston, SC area. Sigma Chi was a very important part of my college experience and helped in the making of some great lifelong friends.
