I'd say my four years at Sigma Chi are some of the best years of my life, socially, perhaps not academically. My life has had its share of ups and downs, but I find myself now surrounded by loving friends and family and what is better than that?

At 28 I decided it was time to get serious and be responsible. I went back to school and graduated at 32. I worked for a series of banks in Charlotte making commercial loans. I retired with full benefits and a pension at 55. In a couple of years I will be retired longer than I worked.

I have a wonderful wife and two sons I'm very proud of, one who is an engineer and one who is a pilot. I have two grandchildren, 13 and 14 that live close by.

My wife and I do volunteer work with those in need and I continue to have interests in photography and writing I used to ride mountain bikes on serious hills, but in a bout of sanity I have switched to riding bikes at the gym.
