After graduating in 1967, I joined DuPont selling X-Ray film to Ga hospitals. Jeslyn would often ask about how attractive the female technicians were who bought DuPont’s film. My standard answer was, "They're all overweight, homely looking, and look a little like my grandmother." Jeslyn was ok with this until DuPont hosted a Christmas party for technicians. When she saw just how drop-dead gorgeous all the techs were, I was in a 'heap of trouble.'

The DuPont job lasted 1 yr before Army Artillery called in 1968, and Vietnam duty called from 1969-70. After returning, we moved to New Jersey so that I could attend Business School at Rutgers University. In 1972, I joined Citibank for 5 years, before moving-on to Wall Street in 1977, selling fixed income securities to institutional clients. 38 yrs later I am still selling them. I have been very lucky with a great family, career and community. We have lived in Summit, NJ all these yrs.

Sigma Chi played an important role in my personal development for 4 years: Meeting Jeslyn there, making lasting friendships there, and learning valuable lessons from all of you. All of this has been hugely important to me.

Thank You Sigma Chi and Delta Epsilon for proving me a strong foundation, sound leadership and a nice way forward.
