Gerald Allen "Jerry" Goodwin November 9, 1945 - February 28, 2014  

Gerald "Jerry" Goodwin of Raleigh NC passed away on February 28, 2014 at the age of 68.

He was the son of the late Herman Goodwin and Aline Wall Strickland. Jerry retired from the NC Department of Transportation, Materials and Test Section.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jane Chappell Goodwin; sister, Kathy Strickland Falco, and husband Bob, of Leland NC; his beloved cat, Maggie the TV Star.

At Jerry's request, there will be no visitation. A graveside service at will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607, or to the SPCA of Wake County, 200 Petfinder Lane, Raleigh, NC 2.
