JUNE 12, 1946 -- NOVEMBER 22, 2008

GARNER -- Janet Pollett Stocks, 62, went home on November 22, 2008, after a long courageous battle with cancer.

She was a devoted Christian, loving family member and friend to all who knew her. She will be missed, but never forgotten.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Highland Baptist Church, 8524 Crowder Rd. Raleigh. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the Church. Burial will follow at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens, Raleigh.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne A. Stocks; son, Kevin Stocks and wife, Mary; grandchildren, Danielle, Ashley and Nichole Lovejoy; father, Bertram George Pollett; and three brothers, Raymond, George and Richard Pollett and their families.

She was predeceased by her mother, Ruth H. Pollett.
