David Whitehead’s obituary

MOREHEAD CITY - David Eugene Whitehead, 66, of Morehead City, died April 2, 2011, at home.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 7, at Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh.

Survivors include daughter, Wendy A. Bass of Edenton; sister, Faye Dixon of Raleigh; mother, Doris Davis of Raleigh; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends after the service at the home of Doris Davis.
