Laura Duncan (Hamilton) VIEW PROFILE

Laura Duncan (Hamilton)

From: Tammy Scott on behalf of Jason Hamilton ~ Laura's husband.

For those who may not have heard, our beloved Laura passed away in her sleep last Thursday night, October 14th, 2022. We are profoundly shaken and devastated at her unexpected passing. She lived on the Mesa Grande Reservation with her loving husband, Jason. She was closely bonded with her adult daughters, Nataley, Brooke, and Courtney; and like most grandmas, she doted on her amazing granddaughters Keeley and Audrey, and was over the moon about her daughter Brook's upcoming birth of grandson, James. She also remained close to her brother, Scott, who lives in Northern California. She leaves behind a host of loving relatives and friends. Laura was an amazing woman with a wicked sense of humor and social justice, a deep love for animals, and a strong commitment to consistently showing up and supporting her family and friends. She was a soul born with extraordinarily intuitive gifts that she devoted time and effort to study and cultivate. This made her a trusted and contributing member of many cultural and spiritual communities, including a local coven! She enjoyed living on the Res where she could embrace her Native roots and culture; where she took community classes and delighted in the growing sense of belonging, she felt to the land. We were blessed to have her for 49 summers on this earthly plane. Details and the link for her Celebration of Life are in the comments. Please feel free to post your memories of her here or on "The Guest Book"  For those who may not have heard, our beloved Laura passed away in her sleep last Thursday night, October 14th.
