Lana Wirth (Horrigan) - Class Of 1970

 

 

 

Heaven gained a beautiful angel on Monday, August 15th, when Lana M. Horrigan (Wirth) passed away after a short illness. She was funny, beautiful, feisty and fiercely protective of her family. She was a cherished mother, sister, aunt, nanny and friend. Lana was born on March 19th, 1952, in Reading, Pa. She came into this world with her beloved twin, Linda. She was predeceased by her mother, Julia; sister, Beverly; and daughter, Heather. She is survived by her sisters, Linda Jablonski (Wirth), wife of Tim Jablonski, Carol Stasek (Wirth); brother, Lawrence Wirth and his wife, Sharon; her daughter, Meghan Krick (Horrigan), wife of Jason Krick; son, Chad Horrigan and his wife, Stephanie; her former spouse, W. Michael Horrigan; and her nephew, Mark Leffler and his wife, Kendra, and their two children, Luke and Ava. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren: Aidan, Patrick and Jules, whom she loved more than life itself. Lana was employed by Berks Lanes for 25 years and was well-known and loved by her co-workers and customers. Memorial Service will be held in Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, Friday, August 19, 2016 at 12 noon. Reverend Paul L. Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon and also, following the interment, in Berks Lanes until 6:00 p.m .
