Elizabeth Kase (Morelli) - Class Of 1985

 

Elizabeth Kase Morelli, 48, of Wyomissing, passed away on August 6, 2016, at home, after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer, surrounded by her family.

Beth was the loving wife of John M. Morelli, with whom she shared 22 years of marriage. Born in Reading, Beth was the daughter of Dr. James and Dorothy Kase, Wyomissing.

Beth attended Sacred Heart School, Holy Name High School, Villanova University and Widener Law School. She had her own legal practice focusing on Estate Planning. Beth was a board member and treasurer of the Berks Catholic Lacrosse Club. She also served as a basketball coach within the Sacred Heart CYO Program. She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

She enjoyed watching her children participate in numerous sports activities. Beth was an avid golfer and tennis player. She enjoyed reading, gardening and entertaining. Beth was an avid Villanova basketball fan. Mostly, she loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Beth was a wonderful wife, daughter, mother, sister, and friend. She was a warm, caring, selfless person who will be sincerely missed by all.

In addition to her husband, Beth is survived by her daughters, Abby and Katie, and her son, Matthew, all residing at home. She is also survived by her brother James Kase, husband of Seana McGinley, San Diego, CA, her brother Christopher Kase, husband of Kirsten Kase, Warrenton, VA, her brother Mark Kase, West Reading, her brother Daniel Kase, San Diego, CA, and her sister, Jennifer Kase, Shillington. She is also survived by her father and mother-in-law, John and Ruth Morelli, Wyomissing, her sister-in-law, Lisa Morelli, wife of Christopher Middleton, Kensington, MD. In addition, Beth leaves behind seven nieces as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 11, 2016, at 10:30am at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 701 Franklin Street, West Reading. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, from 5:30pm-8:30pm.
