
Claire L. Maniaci, 83, of Cumru Township, passed away January 21, 2014 at 9:10 p.m. in the Mifflin Center, where she was a
guest for 1 week.
She was the loving wife of Anthony L. "Tony" Maniaci. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary.
Born September 2, 1930 in Reading, PA, she was a daughter of the late V. Charles & Jennie (Unkle) Vogel.
She was a member of St. John Baptist De LaSalle R.C. Church, Shillington and their Prime Timers group.
She was a 1948 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She was a member of the Gas Utility Seniors and numerous other Sr. citizen groups and participated in many trips and events.
Claire will long be remembered by all who knew her as a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She took great joy in her family and especially enjoyed holiday and family gatherings.
Surviving in addition to her loving husband are 2 sons, Stephen A., husband of Lisa Maniaci, Cumru Twp.; Robert C., husband of Linda Maniaci, N. Heidelberg Twp.; 1 daughter, Diane L., wife of Mark Brown, Palmyra; 1 sister, Marie, wife of Bill Snyder, Muhlenberg Twp.; and 2 grandchildren, Juliana Maniaci and Blaise Maniaci.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. from St. John Baptist de LaSalle R.C. Church, Kerrick & Mitti Roads, Shillington. Rev. Richard Clement celebrant. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Shillington. Viewing Saturday 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the church.
