I am currently living and working in Ecuador in South America, teaching English to high school, and university students. I also work with several foundations working with the very poor. I organize short term volunteer projects for groups wanting to come and help out. I also set up sponsorships for children to attend school. I moved here four years ago, after twenty years working in Radio News in Grand Rapids, Flint and for WWJ/CBS radio in Detroit. Life here can be very difficult, but Ecuador is beautiful country, with a gorgeous coast and the incredible Andes, and the Amazon in the north.
