We went to Cape May 2 years ago and the kids LOVED it. This was the first time for all of us to swim in the ocean (although I had been there when I was younger, my parents didn't know how to swim, so we were relegated to walking along the water's edge). The kids also enjoyed site seeing and being able to go up in one of the light houses. The only draw back to the week was the flies. Everyone (except me--my wife said they didn't like having to work so hard for their meals) got bitten by flies and had a rough time sleeping due to the heat. We plan to go to a beach in Deleware this year that is part of a State Park, so maybe I will have an update from there in August.
