Wow Greg you sure have changed since the last time i saw you. Didn't that hurt? I had that poster of Farrah, Wsih I still did.

It seems like so very long ago. Much as I love me my technology, I'm not sure it's necessarily doing kids today a lot of favors. Farrah was about as risque as things got (at least in the realm of public viewing). It seems things have gotten shockingly hardcore in just a handful of years.

And BTW - quit deleting the thread! Since the message counter resets with each delete, it just looks like we are randomly hopping from topic to topic with no rationale! LOL

Did everyone die or have you all already given up? Spring is here except the weather doesn't know it. March left April it's wind, thank God, cause I didn't get enough of it. Who is ready for summer?

Hey Gary when are we going to get together and go look for Larry Simons.

I'll see your funny babies and raise you with funny animals. Don't know how the guy shooting this didn't just crack up while it was going on.

I WIN. It was funny, but way too long and my A.D.D kicked in and lost all interest in it and... What are we talking about?

04/06/09 05:30 PM #20

Jeannie Randles (Haldiman)

I'm still here, not dead. I just don't have anything to talk about. All I do is go to work during the day and then go to RHS baseball games now and sit at the ballpark all night to see if my son can get in the varsity game. He plays JV mostly, but the one time I didn't show up to watch Varsity, he got in the game! See, you don't care Gary about this, so I'm boring!

04/06/09 07:39 PM #21

Gary Fortney

now why would i not care about that? I would be upset if that happened to me. Sorry that happened to you. Things change when you have kids and you have to miss things their in. I threatened to quit a job once because they wanted me to miss Amanda's ballgame. They grow up too fast to miss the stuff thats important to them.

I completely agree with Gary! Nothing is more important than loving, supporting and encouraging your kids (or for that matter, any kids in your life (except the ones who refuse to grow up)). Sure, it's easy for me to say because I don't have to juggle the demands of young'uns but nothing would make me happier than to have to face that challenge. Three cheers for everyone who does!

Maybe we need to liven up the forums with sexier topics. Anyone want to tackle TARP funds or who should be voted off next on Dancing with the Stars? American Idol? The impending demise of newspapers? The fact that Madonna still has any degree of cultural relevance (personally, I TOTALLY miscalled that one. I remember seeing her Lucky Star video and thinking 'eh, one hit wonder'.)

04/07/09 12:32 PM #23

Jeannie Randles (Haldiman)

Adam all the way on American Idol!
Madonna's money didn't buy her that child from Malawi (sp?) this time, did it?!
I guess I really do more than just work and go to ballgames! Let me throw in there that Desperate Housewives and VH1's Rock of Love are some pretty entertaining stuff to me also!

Sorry I don't watch any of that. I'm a dork and always will be. It's Chuck and Heroes for me and my household. Then if I watch any TV at all it's Sci Fi or House. That is of course I don't fall asleep in my chair first. We've been walking in the afternoons now either at the E 3 track or if it's cold the Rec center. If anyone wants to join us COME ON DOWN!!! Time to shed some unwanted pounds. I would like to see my feet again, I can't remember what color I painted my toenails last time,lol

Thanks Gary . . . with all the talk about credit default swaps in the financial news . . . I would be interested in buying an "age default swap" with someone 25 - ha!

Hi Tammy, Gary Fortney here. Remember me? I had the cool 80's hair and mustache. I don't have any of that stuff anymore but I do still have some of my hair left. Good to know your doing ok and can't wait to see you either.

holy crap we lost one!!! now we're down to 49. Girls better get busy on finding people, lol

Gary - You paint your own toenails? Doesn't Stephanie take better care of you than that? Sounds like you need a Manly Pedi. (Sci Fi channel? "BSG?" she asks hopefully "or, please, please, please does the word 'Firefly' mean anything to you?)
~~~~
DWTS - Steve-O is O-going soon, I hope. Don't do Idol, anyone here do The Amazing Race? We don't watch much TV . . . had our hearts broken too many times by shows cancelled too early. (Firefly, Homefront, Adventures of Brisco County, Jr and yes, I'll say it, Lipstick Jungle) If it weren't for my Tivo, I'd never get to watch anything at all. I don't even make time for my secret boyfriend these days. (I heart Craig Ferguson!)
And movies? I seriously think my last movie was Oceans 13.
Stargate SG1 Stargate Atlantis and the new one coming out this fall. Can't remember the name but I'll be there. Yes thank God for my DVR. I get to watch House about everyday. We don't watch movies because I never remember to take then back and they are getting ready to take my firstborn if I don't pay. I did however order Airplane the movie from Amazon and we watched it 3 times already.
Gary remember all of Monty Pythons or Mel brooks movies? Classics! Well my grandson is at the age where we get to watch all of the good ones together.
Hey everyone just wanted to jump in and say hello!! It's interesting to see everyone chatting on the forum. I can tell that some of the personalities haven't changed. Tracy thanks for the emails & let me know if you need any help. I'll do what I can!! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. I never made it to the previous reunions...so I'm not sure who I'll recognize!! Take care everyone!
04/09/09 06:19 AM #33
Gary Fortney
well you won't recognize me at all. Or Jarrod either. Man have we changed!!!! I've become quiet and painfully shy and Jarrod has lost all his hair and dyed his skin color to make him look Asian. WOW what a difference!!!!!!
04/09/09 10:23 PM #35
Tammy Owens (Volland)
Gary... you have become quiet and shy? I totally doubt that!
Tracy if you need any help give me call and I will try to do what I can as well.
