Hi John, just noticed the posting of your profile. Welcome. It seems we were there at Rhein Main about the same time so perhaps our paths crossed at some point. I was on the flight line for most of my time there serving as a crew chief on the C-54's. Enjoyed the tour very much. If you get a minute and want to drop a line or two I would be pleased to reply. Best regards, Randy

WOW!..what a pleasant surprise to see the SAMS logo and SAMS route info manual posted. Both of these were a huge part of my life during my years at Rhein-Main as a flight line mechanic/crew chief from 1962-1965. I was part of a crew on the C-54's traveling all over Europe as described in the manual shown.I salute you sir, thanks for sharing our beloved SAMS logo & memories from the 7167th Air Transport Squadron ( Special Missions). Seems like we just missed each other since I departed Rhein-Main in '65 and you were just arriving...but that would mean a trip to the dispensary & I only went there once in three years. Best regards, Randy Smith
