Born In Merced, Ca, on March 9, 1946. Entered eternal life on January 9, 2018. She fought a courageous battle and overcame what many would consider unbearable pain and suffering. A proud Rialto resident, she was very active in the community and at St. Catherine of Siena Church. She achieved her lifelong goals of teaching, raising a family and being a loving wife, mother and sister. The void she leaves on this earth will never be completely filled. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, John J, her sons John "Bill" (wife Kelly) and James (fiancée Megan), and her sisters Charlotte Rice and Erma Adkins of Virginia.
 

Viewing will be 6-9 pm Tuesday, January 16. Funeral mass 11 am Wednesday, January 17 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Rialto.

Barbra Koch (Badger)

Dear Phyllis was a steadfast supporter of her community and her parish. Dedication like hers is rare these days and refreshing. She always brought a ray of sunshine to our luncheon meetings and it was a joy to see her.

There is no doubt she is patiently waiting for John to join her in the beautiful peaceful garden she rests in.

She will be missed but not forgotten.
