Greg died in San Bernardino in February 2012 at St. Bernardines Hospital, surrounded by friends and family. He was married to Sally (Celia) Waitman for over 25 years. He had 2 children, Derek and Melissa and 2 (now 3) grandchildren. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Viet Nam era. Greg was an accomplished musician, guitars, keyboard and even known to sing (sort of) as well as writing and production. He was in a band in the 60's that opened for the Rolling Stones on the Stones first tour when they came to San Bernardino. Greg attended Valley College, Cal State San Bernardino, both for his Batchelors and Masters, then the University of LaVerne for his law degree.

-For those of you who knew Greg, especially after high school, know that Greg was a crowd all by himself. What I mean by that is Greg loved and enjoyed life to the "max" and was always at the center of any activity or gathering. I reconnected with Greg after I was in law school and he was already in practice in San Bernardino. Ultimately, we rekindled our friendship and then together practiced (we could never get it right) law for over 20 years as "Waitman and Congdon".
-As with all our friends and classmates who have died, he died to soon. He is missed!!
