Colby, John D.,62, passed away Tuesday, November 21st, 2006. Funeral:First United Methodist Church of Arlington. Donations are requested to be made to either the First United Methodist Church of Arlington or the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Tx.

John was born October 24th,1944 in Memphis, TN to John Denny and Martha Richmond Colby. He earned a BS and MBA from SMU, and he became a self-employed real estate investor. He married Susan Land who he met at S.M.U. where they were both students. In addition to Susan, John is survived by a son, David Land Colby, a daughter, Laura Ann, and four grandchildren.
