My good friend Mike Foster passed away on Sept 3rd, 2021 from heart failure. As a member of the RICHARDSON POLICE FORCE, Mike touched the the lives of many of the citizens of our fair city.
A memorial service will be held in his honor on October 2nd, 2021 at 11:00 at the Wylie Baptist Church located at 206 N. Jackson St.

This news saddens me and my heart breaks for his family and close freinds.I did not know Mike personally while at RHS. I knew "of" him and he was a standout member of the class!I've always enjoyed his posts showing his sense of adventure. He lived out loud! RIP, Mike.

I am thinking about my friend Mable Johnson Foster, who just lost the love of her life. She and Mike were a pair like you read about in books, always together and in love forever. I pray that Mable has peace and comfort after her great loss.

I was saddened to hear the news of Mike's passing. His service as a police officer greatly impressed me. It's not an easy job by any means, and by all accounts Mike appears to have been a credit to the RPD force. May his wife and family find some solace in the memory of a life well lived.
