I just returned home from attending a memorial service for Jimmy. He was one of my best friends at RHS but we had lost touch over the years until I tracked down his sister Pat when she worked for Garland ISD. I got to speak with Jimmy by phone several months ago after my talk with Pat and was really looking forward to he and Pat coming down to the country for a visit but, due to his declining health, that was not to be.
