July 4, 1944 - November 19, 2014

 

Richard Paul "Dick" Stults, 70, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 with his loving family by his side.

Graveside Service: 10:15 A.M. Tuesday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Memorial Service: 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Azle Christian Church, 117 Church St., Azle, 76020.

Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at White's Azle Funeral Home.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Dick's memory to the Azle Christian Church.

Dick was born July 4, 1944 in Dallas to W. H. Stults and Roberta Pauline Prewitt Stults. He grew up in Richardson graduating from Richardson High School in 1962. Dick went on to graduate from Stephen F. Austin University with a Bachelors degree in business. He honorably served his country in the United States Army in Germany. Dick married the love of his life, Rebecca Greeves in 1972.

He worked in the paper industry and was a sales representative for Campbell Paper Company for many years. He loved to fish, hunt and play golf. To Dick family was everything.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Pat Stewart.

Survivors: Wife, Becky Stults; sons, Richard E. Stults, Robert B. Stults and wife, Michelle, and Ryan Stults; granddaughter, Brooklyn Stults; grandsons, Logan Stults, Cooper Stults and Addison Stults; brother, Doug Stults and wife, Mary Lou; nieces, Jill Smith and husband, Bragg, and Brandi Bradshaw; nephew, J.D. Stults and wife, Cheron; many cousins, extended family and friends.

Dick and I lived just a short distance apart and spent many days growing up riding bikes, "hunting" with BB guns, and playing baseball and football in the lot next to his house with his brother Doug and Charles Durrett.  I never knew you Becky but your husband was a great friend and confidant in our formative years.   -  Julien Caillet
