Hackert, Jeffery L. age 49, originally of Richfield, passed away peacefully in California March 13, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Lee and Cleone Hackert (2011) originally of Richfield. Survived by sons, AJ (21) Mesa, AZ and Kerry (18) Duncannon, PA; step-daughter, Angela and (Matt) Ostley; step-son, Mitchel Whorton; sister, Jenelle and (Mark) Koch.

Jeff was a devoted father of 2 boys AJ and Kerry and later was joined by 2 more children from a second marriage; Angela and Mitchel.
From an early age Jeff was burdened by knee problems that his doctors said would result in him living in a wheelchair.
Jeff never let this stop him as he fought his knee issues by doing most things a person with knee problems should never do.
Jeff was an amazing drummer capable of playing most styles of music.
Jeff played goalie for the Richfield Spartans from PeeWee's up to High School. This led him to play for Team USA. Jeff was an avid tennis player and also enjoyed playing many sports.
Jeff was a master mechanic able to fix most anything on a vehicle and in a home. Jeff was also eager to share this knowledge with anyone ready to learn. He was always ready to help you if you needed it.
