VESELY, Robert "Poppy" Warren, of Glen Allen, lost his courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on March 2, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jeane; his daughters, Carey Kendrick and Jill Crist; sons-in-law, Nathan Kendrick and Brad Crist; his five grandchildren, Lia, Margaux and Fischer Kendrick, and Heidi and Nolan Crist; and his faithful guard dog, Stella. He is also survived by his two brothers, Ervin Jr. and Jimmy Vesely; his sister, Shelby Kelley; and many other loving friends and family. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Hunton Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lustgarten Foundation: National Pancreatic Cancer Research.
