In Memory

Jim Daniero

Jim Daniero passed away on Monday July 6, 2009 after his battle with metastatic pancreatic cancer. He had no regrets and throughout his illness he always commented on having had such a wonderful life. He was an intense, intelligent man who had a remarkable memory that could remember names and dates from his childhood through his high school and college years. He enjoyed hearing from old classmates on this site and looked forward to being in contact with old friends and hopefully seeing them again.

Jim will return home to Virginia and will be buried at Quantico National Cemetery on July 15, 2009.

Thanks to all who kept in touch with him,

His wife, Esther

Hi Jim!

What a wonderful life!! Thank you for sharing. It does seem that your super-fast typing skills did come into play in your later life. I always remembered how fast you could type. LOL! Funny what memories we keep with us.

I can't wait to get the CD you mentioned!

Hope to see you at the reunion.

Please take care,

Jane Lynn

My sincere condolences to Jim's wife and family. I am glad Jim had the chance to reconnect with his high school friends and memories on this website before he passed over. I'm sure all who cared for Jim celebrate his life along with his family.

I just received Jim's album in the mail from Amazon.com and played it. I had no idea what a gifted and talented person he was. I only knew him from the track team. He was always appeared to me to be a kind of quiet and background type of person. I highly recommend buying his album "Belle Tavern". Life is so fragile that sometimes we don't appreciate the person someone is until they're gone. Although Jim was not a close friend I am saddened that I won't be able to see him at our reunion and tell him how much I enjoyed his music. I am sure he will be greatly missed by family and friemds. My deepest condolences go out to his family.
