I think I was the first person from Huguenot that Dub met when he moved into our neighborhood. We got into trouble together at school, and out of school, but ultimately we both became law abiding tax paying citizens. After a long interlude in our adulthood, we re-connected about thirteen years ago. He moved to South Carolina and we would talk once or twice a week, often reminiscing about high school and declaring what we would do different if we could start over again. I will miss those conversations and fantasies that he and I would indulge in. Why can't foresight be 20/20, instead of the other way around?
I cannot believe it has already been a year since your passing. Your voice is still strong in my head and your memory is equally as strong. To quote a line from one of our favorite movies, " rest in peace Sammy Davis Junior Junior".
