LINEBERGER, Peter Robert, 56, of Midlothian, passed away suddenly on March 11, 2019. He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Steele Lineberger. He is survived by his wife, Jenette Jones Lineberger; his son, Aaron Steele Lineberger; his father, Robert Brown Lineberger (May) of Columbia, S.C.; his sisters, Lela Groene (Dan) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Sarah Mendes (Sergio) of Orlando, Fla.; his nieces, Jessica, Elisa and Sasha; his nephew, Matthew; and grandnephews, Presley and Khayonni. Pete was a graduate of Manchester High School and Elon University. He served eight years in the U.S. Army. He was employed by Bryant & Stratton as a Testing Coordinator. Pete had a kind and gentle soul and will be remembered for his humor, his twitter postings as "WittyUserName," and his trumpet playing. The family will receive friends 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where a memorial service was held 3 p.m., Sunday, March 17.
