50th Reunion Events

October 15-16, 2021

Class of 1970 Alumni:

This is the big one! It’s been 50 (plus) years since we graduated from Douglas Southall Freeman High School. Your reunion committee has been meeting over the past two years and we have put together what we think will be a great weekend of events to celebrate this memorable time in our lives. We hope many of you will be able to attend and reconnect with fellow classmates. There are still many classmates for whom we have no contact information. Please let us know if you're aware of anyone who has not heard about this event. Please make plans to attend any or all of the events that we have planned.

The cost of the 50th Reunion Saturday night main event is $75.00 per person. Please make checks payable to DSF Class of 1970 and mail no later than September 15, 2021. Please note: no refunds will be given after September 15, 2021 unless the reunion is postponed again due to COVID-19 and a refund is requested.

Menu consists of:

     Marinated beef tenderloin

     Slider bar

     Asparagus in phyllo with asiago cheese

Again, the cost for the Saturday night reunion event is $75.00 per person.

Caring Classmates Fund:  We have been approached by classmates asking for financial assistance to attend the main event. If you would like to help by making a donation of any amount, it would be most appreciated. Just include it in the check with a note stating the additional amount that is to go to the Caring Classmates Fund. Financial assistance will be granted only to classmates, not guests. All donations are kept private and confidential.

We have secured a block of rooms for both Friday and Saturday nights under Douglas Freeman Class of 70 Reunion. Costs range from $105.00 to $114.00 per night.
