How sad.  She had such a gentle spirit.

A gunman rammed his pickup truck into Luby's Cafeteria and opened fire with two semi-automatic pistols and Nancy was among the 22 people killed in Killeen, Texas.  She was a graduate of Longwood College and received her master's degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas.  At the time of her death, she was the assistant director of the Chapter l Program for the Killeen Independent School District.  She was survived by her husband Alvin Stansbury; two sons Christopher and Alexander Stansbury of Harker Heights, Texas, her parents and a brother, all of Jacksonville, Fla. This information was in the Richmond-Times Dispatch on October 20, 1991

How absolutely dreadful -- for her and for all the others who were affected by such an insane act of violence.

Years ago I heard that Nancy had died, but I didn't know what happened to her until today.  What a tragic ending for such a beautiful person.  She surely was among the best of us,  I was privileged to know her,

I remember her well and I also remember that incident, if only one person had a gun in that place she might be with us now!

I'm with you Tommy.  Most of these insane tragedies could have been avoided with someone carrying protection.
