NEWPORT NEWS - Patricia Woychak Hayes, 60, of Newport News, passed away May 8, 2008, after a brief battle with cancer. Pat, a native of Richmond and a 40-year resident of Hampton Roads, worked at Davis Boat Works in Newport News for over 21 years as Human Resource Manager.She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Lucille Woychak.Surviving are husband, Edwin Hayes of Newport News; sister, Linda Sadler of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; brother, Michael Woychak of Richmond; son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Christine Hayes of Richmond; and daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and David Prevatt of Yorktown.Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Monday, May 12, at Farnham Baptist Church Cemetery, 4632 Farnham Creek Road, Farnham.For those wishing to pay their respects, visitors will be received 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, May 12, at 902-A Old Wormley Creek Road, Yorktown.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice House of Williamsburg, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, 23188.
