Reid Cochran passed away on November 24, 2015. He was a Vietnam veteran and is buried in the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Cherokee County, Georgia.
This is very sad news. I asked at 50th reunion & was told that he had not been heard from. We were good friends & spent together talking before & after Vietnam. I know he was never the same, but at previous reunion he seemed to be doing well. I will pray for his eternal peace.

I was was very surprised and saddened to see Reid had passed away. We became very close friends for quite a while. I remember our first “date” was at the Olive Garden. He was a gentleman every time we went out. And boy, did he idolized his Eskimo dog, Charlie. When he had broken his leg, he tried to train Charlie to pull him with his leash. Of course it didn’t work! I have wonderful warm memories of him as he was a very special person!
