Ms. Rebecca "Becky" Robertson Huyck, of Mechanicsville, born December 18, 1948, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents, Oscar and Edna Robertson; her sisters, Patty Marrow and Linda Womack; and her brother, Earl Robertson. Becky is survived by her daughter, Laura Calle (Johnny); her grandsons, Jackson, Landon, and Grayson; her brother-in-law, Bernard Marrow; four nieces and four nephews and many other beloved family members and friends. Becky gave her life to Christ at the age of nine and was a lifelong member of North Run Baptist Church, where she was a deaconess and served in the Children's and Youth Choirs for many years. Becky was a property manager for over 20 years and took great pride working to serve and encourage her residents and their families. Becky loved reading, solving word puzzles, watching Family Feud, Jeopardy and Blue Bloods, listening to music, drinking Pepsi with "a lot of ice," and eating pork chops, her favorite meal for dinner. Becky loved life and treasured her family, friends, and her Lord. A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 2 p.m. at North Run Baptist Church.
