Malcolm passed away on October 8, 1985, in Chesterfield County after a lengthy illness. He is buried in Sunset Memorial Park in Chester, VA. Malcolm served in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1973.
He was a very nice guy. Remember him well. So sorry to hear about his death. It is such a hard thing to hear about such a young man and his young family. I am sure his wife had a rough time, my heart and prayers goes out to his family. I am sure their lives are still mourning. The pain of losing a husband and also a father never goes away. I know.
Malcolm was a GREAT friend and Shipmate. We left for basic together on Jul 21, '67. We were stationed near each other in the San Francisco/ Oakland area. Malcolm was my bestman at my wedding. Truly miss his wisdom and friendship.
