Warren was living in Mechanicsville when he passed away on May 21, 2006 . He was survived by his wife Nadine M. Proffitt, by sons Michael Proffitt and his wife Julie and Eric Proffitt and his wife Gina, and by daughters Jennifer Powers and Temple R. Eltora and her husband Mark.
