Words seem so inadeqate to share what is truly in our hearts.  So many of us have such fond memories of our dear friend Chris.  I can't help but smile when I think of the endless adventures, the silliness and the mishaps that occured during our high school years. That Chris!  Funny, thoughtful, kind, generous, forgiving...and endlessly entertaining!

Following Chris' years of teaching and counseling she retired to enjoy ranch life in Tehachapi.  Family and friends, along with horses, dogs and cats were all a part of the dream she lived.

My heart broke when I read of Chris' death.  She was always so vibrant and the epitome of health and energy.  I remember watching her run a very fast mile that amazed the Physical Education dept. at Burroughs.  I am so glad she pursued her dreams and lived her retirement doing what she wanted.  Good on ya, Chris.  We will miss you.

Chris was one of my few Best Friends growing up in China Lake, CA. as we knelt and prayed and laughed our way through St. Ann's Catholic School in Ridgecrest.  At recess time Chris could always be found playing football with the boys in the dirt lot behind the school.  The priests tried to stop her but finally gave up. Near the end of 8th grade Chris and I memorized the Preamble to the Constitution in a mad panic since we only had the weekend to accomplish the task.  It was impossible because we just couldnt stop laughing.  I had never seen laughing tears squirt out like hers did and it made me laugh more.  The next day we found out there had been no such assignment!  We looked at each other and seeing the identical look on each other's face, we busted up laughing again.  High School and beyond took us in different directions but we always had a happy "Hi" for each other.  I will forever cherish all the memories we made together.  There was only one Chris Fath.  And now there is one less great person on this Earth.  Thank you for being my friend.  I will always love you, girl!
