I am sad to report that Jerry's niece just notifed Annette Craver that Jerry passed away in July 2019.

I don't know if anyone remembers, but Jerry's Mom & their whole family fought very hard to keep Ridgecrest from being incorporated.  She was afraid our taxes would skyrocket and City politicians would get out of control and eventually want to be paid instead of just volunteering.  The family worked very hard on this to no avail. Everything she warned us about came true.  After the kids all graduated they moved to an unincorporated area of Alabama.
