I recall Troy as a close friend who developed my music appreciation by playing /practicing for me in the downstairs basement. During junior high and high school I would walk down to visit with Troy and Danny and help them do their chores and then listen to his latest rock music Dokken, and other various rock artist and listen to him practice for hours we built memories to laugh at and as they lay him to rest memories to cry over as he will be missed in this life time yet we will be joining him again in heaven with all of you who have accepted a relationship with Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior Troy Nix made his personal touch into peoples life by the Music he played, the friendships he enjoyed and the personal character he displayed in his life. I only recall one fight Troy Nix finsihed but that one was to settle the score to someone who had taken an unfair advantage of him being in ROTC uniform.. Troy got him the next day and I was proud to have had a part in defending him by playing a part in having his back and being a friend willing to stick by his side during a fight.
