Coach Heath was a wonderful guy and a tremendous track and cross country coach. In 1965-7, he would show up at school at 6.15 AM and coincidently, most of the cross country team would also show up. We would run 4 miles of speed play around the athletic field then we'd have breakfast. He was an inspiration to everyone who ran for him.
