Mr. Cole died of heart disease.  He was a lifelong resident of Riverside.  He was an airplane mechanic at McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach before retiring in 1996.  He also worked at Lockheed Aircraft in Ontario.

Mr. Cole was a graduate of Ramona High School.  Received an associate of arts degree in paralegal studies in 1997 from Phillips College in Riverside.

Mr. Cole enjoyed working on his car and going to Santa Anita race track.
