Alfred Gann born January 1, 1940 and entered his heavenly home, July 22, 2015. He leaves his wife of 52 years, Connie Gann; and children, Doug (Kate) Gann, Carrie (Scott) Becker, Amy (Guy) Penn; and six dearly loved grandchildren. He coached football, baseball and wrestling at the Jr. HIgh and High School level in the Amphi District for 20 years. He also taught and coached at Patagonia High School, taking the football team to the state playoffs for three consecutive years. The last four years of his teaching career were spent at Cholla High where he coached football and served as Athletic Director. In addition to teaching he ran a successful screen print business for two decades. Athletic Team Outfitters provided uniforms to countless teams. After retirement he coached numerous little league baseball and youth football teams. He had a gift for seeing potential in every child and placing them where they could best shine. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the Sonoita Hills Community Church, Sonoita, Arizona at 2:00 p.m.
