A story entitled "The Hunt for Alicia" was published in People Magazine, dated December 2, 1991.

It describes how Craig, a police officer, claimed his daughter was taken from the mall while in his care.  Later, the truth be told, that not too long after Craig confessed to killing his daughter, he commited suicide on August 16, 1991.
