I am so very shocked and saddened to hear that Sue has passed away! She was a wonderful person with a beautiful smile. I know she will be remembered and missed by all who knew her!

Oh no.  Not another classmate.  Not another personal friend.  Susan was aprecious friend to me.  As she always did, she added happiness and affection to those of us who cherished her. In anticipation of our class reunions she and I would talk.  She made me feel wanted and special to be part of the class.  I remember when she had her Harley.  I remember when she and John rode around in their 34 Ford coupe.  She visited with me on my farm in Alabama once, and brought with her the smile and joy that persisted throughtout her life.  I will always remember how she greeted me at the reunions.  As I write this I am feeling a loss I wish none of us felt.  Susan wasn't just a gift to me; she was a gift to our class and to all of the persons with whom she shared her life.  As my father aged she would meet after hours at her office to medically care for him.  That gift to my father was,  of course, a gift to me as I lived too far away to be present when my father needed the help she provided.  She just made me happy.  Her memory will make me smile so long as I live.  Thank you Susan.  I know her husband will cradle her in his arms as I am sure their spirits have already reunited.

My heart is broken at the loss of my beautiful friend Susan.  Too many years lost not in contact.  Feeling blessed that we reconnected at a time I could be with her as much as possible through her battle with Parkinson's Disease and that I was able to be there to say goodbye to her in the end.  I am comforted that she is no longer struggling in pain and that she is now at peace with her beloved husband Jon.  I'm sure she will continue to be a bright light forever as she always was in this world.
