I don't know exactly how Linda died, but my mother called and told me when she saw the obituary. I had stayed in touch through a number of years and our daughters played together when they were young. Linda was a witty, outgoing and cheerful person. She was so close to her family - adored her children! A fond memory that I have is that we were in elementary school, she used to go to church with me on Sundays. My mom would pick her up and we'd go together.

Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Greg Clements; daughter, Jessica Renee Clements of the home; son, Brent Carlton Clements and his wife Christy Wyatt Clements of Weaverville; and sister, Melody A. Wilbanks of Plantation, FL. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville.
