Jeffrey Byron Stiff, 42, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord Friday May 19, 2006 as the result of an automobile accident. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and great- grandparents, Frank Lucas and Minnie H. and Byron Austin Porterfield and Paternal grandparents Virgie Martin and Atlee P. Stiff. Mr. Stiff was a former member of Clearbrook Rescue Squad, a lifelong member of Sherry Memorial Christian Church and also attended Penn Forest Christian Church. He served as an authorized representative of the Roanoke County Voting and Registration Committee and was an avid racing fan. He graduated from Cave Spring High School in 1982
