| Ronald (Jay) VanDellen, 44, of Vinton, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2008. Surviving are his wife, Dawn Reid VanDellen, parents, Charles "Chuck" and Joyce VanDellen; brother, Kenneth W. VanDellen, all of Roanoke; sister, Kimberly Ann VanDellen, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; grandfather, Charles VanDellen, of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Thrasher United Methodist Church, 707 E. Washington Avenue, Vinton, Va. 24179. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008, at Thrasher United Methodist Church by Pastor Rob Colwell and Dr. Don Pegram.
