KNOTTS, Calvin Mark, 41, of Salem, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2000. He was a member of St. Philip Lutheran Church. He is survived by his father and mother, Calvin C. and Betty M. Knotts; a brother, Charles E. Knotts of Azusa, Calif.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Frank Villani of Alta Loma, Calif., Lisa and Paul Sleeper of Moneta; three nieces, Nikki Villani, Cara Sowers, and Brittany Knotts; two nephews, Justin Sowers and Eric Knotts; a very special cousin and lifelong friend, Brenda Beckman; several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2000 at Oakey's North Chapel with Rev. Paul Gunsten officiating. The interment will be private at a later date. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Oakey's North Chapel. Due to Mark's special love for children, the family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Philip Lutheran Church Youth Group.
