Keith was a United States Navy Veteran, having joined right out of high school and served in both Okinawa and Guam. He settled in the Stewartsville area of Bedford County. He was a true outdoorsman, he especially loved to hunt and to garden. He was a diehard fan of the Washington Redskins. He was an electrician by trade; a real handyman, and definitely a comedian by character. He was full of life with a huge personality and a practical joke around every corner. His mischievous grin and laugh will be particularly missed. He was deservingly proud to be an active single father for Nicole, a great provider, and even mentored his cousin’s children as their “Uncle”. He truly loved animals. He exceptionally loved his dogs and filled his life and home with them over the years. He always had a pack to keep him company. Missing their pack leader now are his babies Lulu, Rex, Jackson, Louie, Ace, and Mateo. The family will hold a memorial service to honor Keith at a later date. Arrangements by Burch-Messier Funeral Home, Bedford, 540-586-7360.
