Dane M. Giles, 56, of Pickerington, Ohio died unexpectedly on Friday, May 31, 2013. He was born on February 28, 1957 to the late Hubert and Hazel Giles in Roanoke. Dane worked for A.E.P. as an electrical engineer for 32 years. He was a loving husband, father, uncle and godfather; and will be dearly missed. Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years Audrey Giles; two children, Traci Giles and Alex Giles all of Pickerington, Ohio; three sisters, Vicki (Mike) Roberts of Roanoke, Sandy (William) Haupt of Matthews, N.C. and Deanna (Derrick) Kerns of Charlottesville; and numerous nieces; nephews and friends. 
Friends may visit the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 550 Hill Rd. N. Pickerington, Ohio 43147 on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 1 to 2 p.m. A Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Bill Lyle will begin at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Violet Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Roanoke. Memorial donations can be made in his name to your local food pantry.
