Brenda Riddlebarger, 54, of Vinton, VA, passed away peacefully in July 2012. Born in July 1957, she brought joy and warmth to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Brenda, also known affectionately as Brenda Myers and Brenda R. Cowley, was a beloved friend, mother, and community member.
Brenda’s spirit was infectious, and her laughter could light up a room. Many will fondly remember the countless lunch hours spent with her dear friend Karen Hollingsworth, where they would share stories and laughter until they ached. These moments exemplified Brenda's zest for life and her ability to connect with others on a deep and meaningful level.
A dedicated and compassionate individual, Brenda touched the lives of many in her community. She was known for her generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her legacy of kindness and love will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.
Brenda is survived by her loving family and countless friends who will remember her vibrant spirit and the laughter she brought into their lives. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the stories shared and the laughter that echoes in our hearts.
A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at a later date, where all who knew her are invited to share their memories and honor her remarkable life.
